Puppies!!

So you just brought home a bundle of joy - one with a cold wet nose and fuzzy face.  You've got all kinds of ideas of what kind of dog you want your puppy to become, but have you considered their grooming requirements?  Have you made the purchase of nail clippers, combs and brushes?
If you're still unsure, and even if you  have some previous experience with puppies, I am here to help.
Puppies are my specialty.
I have been gently grooming young puppies (and all other ages of dogs and cats, too) for many years.  With my safe handling techniques, I have been able to transform some of the squirmiest, whiniest pups into dogs with excellent 'table manners' who are a dream to groom.

Because of my commitment to helping puppies (and their owners) with early grooming awareness / acceptance, I offer affordable introductory puppy grooming packages.

At this time, we offer a VERY specially priced s'paw package JUST for your puppy's first trip to the pet stylist. The focus of the first grooming experience is a meet n' greet with the stylist and to get to know you and your puppy.  Usual service times for Puppy Trims and Baths are only 30-45 minutes.

"Fuzzy Pups"
Puppy Trim includes the full shampoo/conditioner/massage service, nail clipping, ear cleaning & hair removed from the ear canal where necessary, anal glands checked, trimming the corners of their eyes, bangs trimmed or topknot pulled up into a band, paw pads & feet lightly trimmed*, and sanitary area clipped. Bows or bandanna and splash of fragrance finish the groom and pup is ready to go back home!

"Short & Smooth Pups"
For puppies requiring a nail trim or ear cleaning, why not save a few dollars and go for the puppy bath package?  It includes the full bath service: shampoo/conditioner/massage, nail clipping, ear cleaning, anal glands checked, but no trimming or clipping with the clippers or scissors. Bows or bandanna and splash of fragrance round out this special puppy package.

Estimated Prices:

Small breed "Fuzzy Pups" Trim:                    15-25$
Medium breed "Fuzzy Pups" Trim:                20-35$
Large breed "Fuzzy Pups" Trim:                    30-45$

Small breed Puppy Bath:                                10-20$
Medium breed Puppy Bath:                            15-30$
Large breed Puppy Bath:                                20-35$

* Paw trimming for puppy package does NOT include 'clean feet'. (Clean feet is a term used when the entire paws are shaved with a very close blade.) Clean feet may be added to the service for an additional fee.

The first months are formative for a puppy.  The experiences they have at a young age will affect them throughout their life.  At Puppy's Breath, the focus is a fun, stress-free experience.  I will help uneasy owners with any questions they may have as to what grooming maintenance is recommended for their lifestyles.  I also provide FREE nail trims for regular clients in between grooming appointments.

(All services are by appointment only - Please call for availability)

First-Time Grooms cannot be guaranteed for 'perfection'. Wiggly puppies and sharp instruments are not always a good match, and I will NEVER knowingly put your pet in harm's way during their grooming appointment. If the grooming ever becomes a danger to your pet or the stylist, all grooming will end, and the pet will be sent home unfinished.

Drop-off, Pick-up, and Daycare Services may be available - Inquire by phone or e-mail.
